My first appointment was great. Very friendly and easy to talk to. I'm so glad I found a doctor who thinks the way I do. It's nice to hear a diffrent solution. I had been to several doctors and they all tried to give me medicines to get rid of pain but not fix the problem. She wants to fix the cause of my issue.

I have heard that Dr. Aghdam didn't make her patients wait longer than 10 minutes. I'm not sure why my appointment was the exception - maybe it was because it was a Monday, and it was lunch time? But there wasn't anyone else but another woman and I in the waiting room. Anyway, I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time, and was in the waiting room for 40 minutes. Then, I was taken back, and waited another 20 minutes until she came in there. But she is great. She goes over things quickly, but is always willing to answer any question.

Dr. Aghdam had a very abrasive and patronizing personality. She made me feel as if it were my fault that no other doctor had provided an accurate diagnosis. Additionally, she insisted that I fill out paperwork before arriving, yet it seemed that she had not reviewed my record before or while meeting with me. For example, she mentioned that my gallbladder might be causing pain. If she had looked at my records and forms, she would have seen that I had my gallbladder taken out a few months ago. Personally, I'm a bit skeptically of her methods but willing to try anything at this point and, overall, am mildly satisfied with her diet plan.

I have suffered worsening eczema for the past three years. Dr. Aghdam is the first doctor who is trying to care for me by addressing the root of the problem, as opposed to just writing me a prescription for the symptoms (the eczema.) I felt like she actually listened to what I told her. She is obviously passionate about healing people naturally. I appreciate that she has a protocol with strict and specific instructions that she follows with regard to prescribing a diet, etc. It makes it that much easier to follow. I look forward to my follow up appointment.

I like her and I think she is very competent. I like her holistic approach to health care. I don't like that she has blood pressure machines which aren't very accurate and that doesn't have at least one real stethoscope. I don't like being asked to give a urine sample for a research project that is not described to me in advance. I understand that everyone's internet goes down once in a while but it would be nice to have type written instructions of my next steps for clarity. I also was not told when I need to come back for a follow up.

Dr. A is thorough and makes sure she listens to her patient's concerns. I always know she will take the time to hear me and work through whatever is needed to get me healthy. She is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to permanent health, not a "quick fix".
