Dr. Tran had very harsh bedside manner, to the point where I was wondering if I was even seeing the right doctor, given all her great reviews.
My visit was telehealth, and I was never contacted ahead of the appointment with zoom instructions. Starting 10 minutes before the appointment, I was calling every number I could find that would hopefully connect me to Dr. Tran (since her direct line cannot be found anywhere). Turns out she had called me and my phone was having issues receiving. When I finally did catch her, she was aggressive about my lateness. Throughout my appointment, I felt like I was on the defense. The appointment was to start my journey toward an ADHD diagnosis, and I really wish Dr. Tran had put her biases aside and assumed I have positive intent. This kind of thing is new to me and I'm just trying to do the right thing. Warning to fellow zocdoc'ers: you must first book a mental health evaluation through a neuro-psychologist - you apparently cannot get diagnosed from a family medicine doctor/PCP. This was a big first step for me, and it was clearly with the wrong doctor. I was so taken-aback by Dr. Tran's language, that I was speechless for some of our session, desperate to get off the call. All in all, a traumatic experience, unfortunately.
