Dr. Davis is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association and Travis County Medical Association. She specializes in the treatment of Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery as well as in general Ophthalmology.
Dr. Davis completed her undergraduate and premedical studies at Emory University in Atlanta and her ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. She did a rigorous glaucoma fellowship program at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and has spent the last two years in Dallas/Ft. Worth where she has specialized in the care and treatment of glaucoma patients. She is a skilled cataract and glaucoma surgeon.
Dr. Davis grew up in the Westlake area of Austin. After much traveling and training for ophthalmology, Dr. Davis realized Austin is her home and decided to return to practice medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Davis enjoys practicing yoga, baking and spending time with her family, friends and adorable hound dog Charlie.

Dr. Davis is very energetic and kind. She was also flexible re: my need to consolidate appointment times because of my job. However, I left feeling nervous because there seemed to be a lack of confidence around the vision in my right eye and her ability to address it surgically. The responses were vague. Also, I asked 4 times-twice prior to my appointment and twice during my appointment what the cost of this procedure was going to be and was not even given a range of possible cost. Because I will be responsible for the cost I needed this information. I will not be pursuing this procedure through this office.
