Dr. Wais is absolutely wonderful! During my first visit with her she put me right at ease. We discussed not only my personal medical history, but also about my lifestyle and how that can play a part. She took the time to explain why things were happening as they were, which is really wonderful to share that level of understanding. She cares for the whole patient, and tries to help them find healthy solutions, rather than pushing pharmaceutical medications.
I highly recommend Dr. Wais!

Dr. Lindsay Wais is a primary care doctor in Issaquah who specializes in naturopathic medicine. A teacher at heart, Dr. Wais chose medicine because she is passionate about patient education. She loves helping patients understand their bodies and the many ways they can improve their health.
As a born and bred Issaquah native, Dr. Wais grew to love medicine during the childhood years she spent at her father’s chiropractic clinic. Dr. Wais graduated with honors from University of Washington with a BA in Psychology before heading to Bastyr University for her degree in Naturopathic Medicine. After medical school, it was a natural choice for Dr. Wais to open her own practice locally.
Dr. Wais considers it her greatest privilege to be a part of her patients’ journey to restored health, and she strives to be an attentive and compassionate caregiver along the way. In her free time, Dr. Wais loves to ski, snowboard, play tennis, bike, and spend time with her family and friends.

She is very patient and personable, I didn't feel rushed. She asked pertinent questions and answered all my questions throughly. She seemed very professional and her staff was friendly and helpful. I will absolutely return and would highly recommend her.

What a wonderful visit! This was my first appointment with Dr. Wais, and my first with a ND and it was wonderful! She really took the time to listen to my personal and family medical history and had great suggestions to get me started. I really felt positive leaving our appointment.
