This is a new office and you could tell everything is spotless. The front desk was very friendly. I started to realize that people that came in after me were going in before me so after about 30 minutes, I went to the front desk and they took me in right away. I was told by the physicians assistant that it never showed on her computer that I was even there. So it seems there’s a miscommunication between the front desk and inside. Maine doctors offices..
The physician assistant was an absolute doll to work with. She was kind, professional, and made sure she did a very detailed review of what was going on with me. . I felt very comfortable with her and she did a whole bunch of test before the doctor even came in.
? When the doctor came in, she was immediately friendly, concerned, and very professional. She took her time talking to me going over every single possible detail why I was sick. ? I was extremely impressed on this doctor. without a shadow of a doubt I would go back.

She is crazy! Very unsettling. She said she doesn’t supply ninety day prescriptions because I could take them all at once and it’s a liability. So she will only do 30days at a time! So every month I have to go and pick it up and it costs more money that way! She always looks messy too.

Dr. Mamakos was very nice but didn't listen when I told her my red eye wasn't allergy related. I went in for a rash on my face and what I thought was pink eye which I often get. I was using an old prescription and asked for a renewal. She diagnosed my swollen red eye as allergy related so gave me over the counter meds which did nothing. I called to beg her for a prescription the following day which she sent in but wound up the medication wasn't available anymore. I then made an appointment with a different doctor who diagnosed my rash immediately as shingles (infecting my eye as well) and I'm on the mend.

I had one of the best experiences ever here. All personnel were very nice. Dr. Mamakos was so compassionate, understanding, nice as well as professional. She spent so much time with me, I never felt rushed. I am so happy I chose her as my new doctor.
