Just curiosity. My appointment was 1PM and I checked in at 12:50 PM. at 1:05 PM, a patient walk in and says she's late, had appointment at 12:45 PM. Then who should be seen first? I came on time and the other patient late. In my case, the patient who had 12:45 PM appointment, who showed up 20 minutes late, 5 minute after my appointment time, was seen first. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes before I was seen.
This is solely the reception issue.
The doctor, Dr. Markman, is fantastic. Great bedside manner, always makes phone calls herself, in a very timely manner, when and if needed, for follow ups. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. Lisa Markman is originally from Orange County, California, received her BA in psychology from University of Calfornia Berkeley and attended Columbia University's Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University in Israel, during which she also spent 2 months working at a hospital in rural India. She completed residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY, and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at NYU Langone Medical Center, during which she time she also undertook research on atypical bisphosphonate-related fractures and osteoporosis. Her current clinic focus is Endocrinology.
