“Dr. Otey comes in to the office ready - she greets you, hears you and listens. I’d recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Doctor who is straightforward, to the point and attentive. However the nurse that looked after me upon meeting Dr. Otey was super polite, friendly and talkative, I really appreciated her. Also I can’t end this post without speaking about the two women at the front desk, extremely genuine and helpful human beings. I’ll be back to see Dr, Otey, the nursing and office staff very soon!”

Dr. Otey was very nice and welcoming. I just went in for a yearly exam but she made sure to ask me about things that most doctors tend not to ask women of color. I have been looking for an OBGYN that I feel comfortable with and I can say I will definitely continue to see her.

It is difficult to find a provider that you can relate to and that takes your health seriously. I am so blessed to have found this doctor. She is an excellent doctor and pays attention to every detail. Even a small spike in my blood pressure alerted her to take it again and ensure that my blood pressure is not a concern. She is a kind human being and truly cares for her patients as a whole. And I love that this office is run by HBCU educated black females. I felt so welcomed and felt that my concerns were heard and addressed.

Dr. Otey was amazing. I felt very comfortable with her and it really seemed like she cared. In just one visit she gave some very helpful and hopeful advice which is more than i have ever received. The only thing that I didnt care for was the long wait time (over 1.5 hrs). I met someone in the lobby and they said that Dr. Otey is great but the wait is usually long. I figured that means she's in high demand! And since i will typically come 1x/year I figured i can plan for that. Overall it was a good experience.

Dr. Lisa and her staff were very professional and friendly. Clear communication about my visit and any follow up options. They provided additional resources for future care, which displays how great they listen to all your concerns. I felt like my care was treated personally and privately to my needs. Dr. Lisa was very knowledgeable about my personal needs and how to improve my self care. The reception was welcoming and courtesy of check in. I believe they follow proper procedures to ensure each patient privacy. I would recommend this care center as well as Dr Lisa and her staff. 10/10 recommend! Great Service!

Dr. Otey was the best gynecologist I have ever seen! She was so kind and funny, and genuinely! listened to my concerns with a plan of action to match.
To explain how ovaries work, she used her two fists and had them talk to one another and was able to communicate a complicated biological process simply and with humor.
I will be going back to her and her office as long as I possibly can!
