Every time I see Dr. Planche I feel very fortunate to finally be treated by a caring psychiatrist who looks beyond medication to a holistic treatment and has my best interests at heart. I cannot recommend her too highly.

Dr. Lisett Planche is an adult psychiatrist who works with many individuals struggling with depression, bipolar spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, GAD, Adjustment disorder, women’s mental health, and much more. Training in the heart of New York gave her a rich and multi-faceted experience in providing health care to patients from all walks of life. This experience has helped her develop autonomy, confidence, adaptability, and more importantly effective communication skills to deliver safe patient-centered care.
Dr. Planche was born in Cuba and grew up in Bronx, NY, where she witnessed the plight of a community that did not have easy access to mental health counseling and/or treatment. After seeing some of her acquaintances suffer from the effects of undiagnosed and untreated psychiatric illnesses, she was inspired to attend medical school at the American University of Antigua. She then completed her residency training at Metropolitan Hospital Center. As a fully licensed and board-eligible psychiatrist in the state of New York and Florida, Dr. Planche commonly prescribes medications while also incorporating supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to achieve optimal treatment and the best possible outcome for each unique
patient.
She ultimately hopes to not only treat those suffering from mental illness but also to inspire others to seek treatment and use her work to improve the outlook of those with psychiatric
diseases.

Dr. Planche has a wonderful bedside manner. She is gentle, caring and sincere, with a nice sense of humor too. I always feel very much at ease, that she is knowledgeable and genuinely wants to help me. There is no feeling of other-worldly weirdness that I have felt with some other psychiatrists; she is grounded. I have no hesitation in recommending her highly.
