Great bedside manner. A lot of knowledge about breast feeding. Helped me with gettin my baby to latch. Got my breast pump here too and was fully covered by insurance in like in other on line vendors. Practical advice and was able to demonstrate things in person.

Ms. Lisy Peters is a dedicated pediatric nurse practitioner and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 35 years of experience caring for maternal, infant, and pediatric populations. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Kerala. She earned her master's degree in Maternal and Child Nursing from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed a Post-Master's Certificate in Pediatric Health Nursing at Rush University, Chicago. She is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the State of Illinois. After working several years as a Neonatal ICU Nurse and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in hospital settings, she recognized a great need for serving breastfeeding families in the community. In response, she founded a breastfeeding clinic in 2008 named "Healthy Babies Happy Families," which has become a valuable resource for new moms, babies, and families.

Lisy has changed my life with breastfeeding my son. The first Session really opened my eyes to how we need to progress. It helped my son latch and me relax to let the oxytocin flow. I will continue to go to sessions to be monitored and make improvements.

A very positive experience today. The approach was very calming and focused on the mother baby bond of breastfeeding. I received some very practical tips and advice and left with a baby that could latch! I highly recommend a session with Lisy. My baby is a week today and I wish I would have gone sooner!!

Lisy was absolutely amazing!! My husband and I visited her with our first son when we were experiencing latching issues three years ago, and we returned this week when we had a latch scare with our newborn baby. Lisy really listened to our concerns, reassured us, provided a plethora of information, and had wonderful bedside manner. We would highly recommend visiting Lisy if you have any concerns regarding breastfeeding or pumping breastmilk.

So amazing experience, Lisy just the best one! She is so calm and professional, my baby loved her from the first sign! We have the difficulties with the breastfeeding and won’t handle it without her!

Lisy is very knowledgeable and passionate. She has always made herself available and has troubleshooted many breastfeeding and bottle feeding issues for us. I have experience with many lactation consultants and she is simply the best. Top of her field and a true expert. I will recommend her to anyone who I know needs the help. If you want to make sure your child's feeds are going well you need to contact Lisy ASAP!
