My doctor was very engaging and informative. He explained the process every step of the way, discussed my options, and made me feel empowered to decide. VERY professional staff, courteous and kind. Never made me feel embarrassed about what for me was kinda an embarrassing situation-- toe nail fungus.

Graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s of Science in Movement Science , Dr. Loren Colon then graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where he was granted a merit scholarship for his academic excellence. Next, Dr. Colon completed his three year podiatric medical and surgical residency training at the VA Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia, learning from and working alongside Emory University physicians.
Dr. Loren Colon is board certified in Podiatric Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. This was the first time and the staff got me checked in, called to the back, evaluated and took the necessary steps to have me ready. Upon Dr. Colons' arrival he listened and gave me a simple treatment for my condition.

The staff was very personable and nice. I had xrays done and she was very clear about her instructions. She went ahead and did them before the doctor came to save time. I ended up having to wear a book on my foot for a stress fracture. he also helped by letting my employer know that I needed to wear special shoes even after my boot comes off for my condition. He even recommended a treatment for an issue I am having that won't be covered by insurance but gave a reasonable rate and I will be taking advantage of that service as well. He questioned me to find out what was wrong and examined my foot then looked at the xrays to determine a diagnosis. I also found I have a bunion which was news to me. So all in all he gave me a lot of information I needed and helped me with everything I needed to stay healthy even after my treatment is over.
