He was literally stuck to his computer. Felt like I was talking to the computer the whole visit. No eye contact, no sympathy, only time he looked up was when he told me to go see his medical assistant. Than he wanted to run an ekg and do blood work on me when I had already given him my blood work and ekg that was done by my pcp a week ago.....and when my visit was over I didn’t know it was over because he and his medical assistant disappeared. I had to go to the front and asked them to contact him to let me know was I actually done?!?!

Dr. Fitzig was very nice. He took his time to get as much background information as possible and to help answer any questions I have. There was quite a bit of waiting time (I was there about 2.5 hours in all) but I’ve come to expect that at doctor’s offices in general.

I must have had the misfortune of seeing him on his bad day, but this doctor was absent minded, asking irrelevent auestions, did not seem to care about my condition and was cynical throughout the visit. He aggresively questioned my answers when I was describing my symptoms as if I was on the stand, making me feel guilty for being sick or being in his office. He challenged the established diagnosis from other doctors with a smirk, and was on the phone most of the time I was there. He was talking while glued to the computer, without looking at me, with his back faced to me, dismissing my comments about how I felt, without offering any solutions or help. When I asked what he thought was wrong, his answer was "how do I know what's wrong!" No, I will never go back to him.
