Before joining Carolinas Podiatry, Dr. DeBlasi received her medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine New York, NY. She completed her residency at St. John Hospital, Harrison Township, Michigan. She is the current Chair of the Council on Podiatric Medical Education, the accrediting agency overseeing Podiatric Medical schools, Residencies, Fellowships, Continuing Education and Specialty Boards.
Dr. DeBlasi provides conservative and surgical treatment for podiatric conditions including bunions, tailors bunions, hammertoes, pinched nerves/neuromas, ingrown nails, heel pain/spurs, acute gout, diabetic ulcers, tendonitis, foot fractures, foot injuries, ganglion cysts, warts and other problems concerning the foot.
Dr. DeBlasi enjoys living in Florence and being so close to the beach. During her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time at the beach with her family.
Dr. DeBlasi became a Podiatrist to allow her to perform surgery, treat patients in an office setting and still be able to enjoy her family. She gives back to the profession by her active involvement on a national level with the Council on Podiatric Medical Education for the past 15 years.
