I was immediately impressed by the extremes to which Dr. Lori Nelson went to ensure her complete understanding of my concerns. More importantly, few of my doctors have gone to such lengths to ensure my complete and competent understanding of my medical conditions as she understood them. She loaned me her undivided attention from the appointment's start until its completion more than an hour later. Not once did I feel rushed, ignored or patronized. I literally felt pampered. With respect to the actual provision of medical services, Dr. Nelson left no stone unturned - she exceeded all of my expectations - she diligently explained all the options to me and the possible consequences of each. Dr. Nelson provided me with the kind of advice that one finds imminently reasonable; she won my trust completely. I would be absolutely comfortable recommending Dr. Nelson to my most discerning and discriminating family members, friends and associates. She is my "go-to" doctor for pain management.

Dr. Nelson took my stenosis pain away for 6 18 months. I am still dealing with statin pain, but that too is under increasing management. Thank goodness for nerve ablation for which Dr Nelson is an expert.

Rather kurt. Typically I appreciate direct communication, but this interaction wasn’t pleasant and I left defeated. I understand the allotted 30 minutes can’t cover everything, but was expecting to be listened to fully about the previous diagnosis & current conditions (that were also explained prior in the online paperwork) so that I can get more detailed information on treatment/care options that will improve my pain day to day & at work. Knowledgeable, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend if you’re already at extremely sensitive state & you’re condition is not cut & dry. I will be following up with what was referred and recommend but hoping for a better interaction the second appointment.
