After completing residencies in both Dermatology and Family Practice at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, Dr. Tisocco has since been practicing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in the South Suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana, now with nearly 30 years of experience.
He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine (Northwest) and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, American Society of Dermatological Surgery, Illinois Dermatological Association, Illinois State Medical Society, and the Italian-American Medical Society.
Dr. Tisocco is also a part of the consulting staff of Ingalls Hospital (Harvey, Illinois) and Saint Margaret / Mercy Hospital (Hammond, Indiana) and is fluent in speaking both Italian and Spanish.

The wait time seemed a bit long, but it was explained to us that the doctor had to see an unexpected patient as a result of an emergent situation. I would highly recommend this dermatologist. Great with my teenage son.

The doctor was running behind schedule so the staff asked me was it fine if I was seen by the nurse practitioner, Janet. She was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, pleasant disposition, and a great sense of humor. When I left I felt pleased and enriched by my visit. I cannot speak to the doctors performance but Janet gets five stars easily!

He likes to talk to get to know you. I brought my 12yr daughter and he asked her to pronounce his name and she had a hard time doing it. She finally did. And he said it took 10 mins to do it. He told me to turn off my cellphone. I turned to ringer off
