My visit with Lorraine was very thorough, Doctors have forgotten to give a patient a complete exam I love how she checks everything just like doctors used to years ago. She leaves no stone unturned. The gyn exam I recieved from her every year or so is always gentle I never even know she started or finished. That is how benign her exams are. She is the best.

Very pleased. Lorraine always makes time to discuss all of my concerns and follows up on previous questions and ongoing health issues. Lorraine focusses on me as a whole person, and not just the first medical complaint I present on any given visit. She brings considerable training and experience to bear, and makes me feel part of the team.

Dr. Lorraine Bock, CRNP, is board certified as both a family and emergency nurse practitioner. She has been practicing in the field of emergency medicine for more than 35 years and in family medicine since 1994. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania having completed her Adult Nurse Practitioner training there in 1994 and returned to PENN in 1995 for a post-graduate certificate in Pediatrics. She completed her doctoral studies at Robert Morris University in 2014 with a capstone project that focused on the needs of family caregivers. She served as the Nurse Practitioner for the Pennsylvania General Assembly from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Bock was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2014. She is the immediate past-president of the PA Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and has spoken extensively on the subject of professional responsibility and legislative activity. She is regularly consulted by lawmakers for her opinion on proposed healthcare legislation and has assisted in the draft language of several bills and amendments. She currently owns a direct primary care practice and is an Assistant Teaching Professor for the Penn State University College of Nursing.
