Verified patient
It felt a bit rushed, impersonal, otherwise it was fine.
Verified patient
professional and very good at explaining my problem
Verified patient
He seemed genuinely disappointed that my condition was not surgical, then recommended costly treatments that made my condition worse.
love the attention and no wait time !
Verified patient
Typical treatement response (rest, ice, blah, blah) I could have gotten online. Told him I had done all of that stuff before coming into the office, but had no improvement. Showed no interest in helping me. Oh well...

Excellent doctor & Staff
I was very satisfied , he is a great doctor
He was well intentioned, seemed a little rushed, and wasn't too helpful with my questions but they were not easy questions to address on the spot so I would probably recommend.
Nice and patient, highly recommended!

Verified patient
I thought he was very personable and spent a reasonable amount of time with me. He had very good bedside manner, asked me a lot of questions to come to a diagnosis and explained the treatment plan in full. I also hardly had to wait. I had a very good experience.
Verified patient
Fast, friendly & efficient. Explained my possible diagnoses & respective treatment options clearly and thoroughly. Found an imaging facility near my home for me. Highly recommend Dr. Rizio.
He was very professional and to the point.
Verified patient
office was dingy looking but the exam rooms were perfectly clean and the Doctor was extremely helpful in answering all my questions.
The doctor himself is very good. He's personable, tells you straight up what are the options for treating your issue. He seems to keep up with advances in his field, and gave me a cautious recommendation for a procedure that is on the cutting edge of the therapeutic range. He's a lot better than a lot of sports docs I've seen, who basically tell you there's nothing that can be done or just prescribe PT. Front desk staff could be nicer. Wait time was longer than I expected, but fortunately there were some magazines around.
it was quick and concise, time will tell if his recommendations work out but I'm confident in his thought process and we have a get well plan

Dr. Rizio has just the right balance of charm, great bedside manner and doctoring. My son was the patient. He was great with him. Dr. Rizio was fast but not too fast to explain. He took great care with us. Looking forward to the 2-week check in.
Verified patient
He was knowledgeable and kind. He listened carefully and gave me a diagnosis and explanation. Also very accommodating with other requests, like giving me a doctor's note for work and gym.
My visit to Dr. Rizio was great. His front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I got into see the doctor at my appointment time. He communicated thoroughly about my condition and provided excellent care for my back. I highly recommend Dr. Rizio.
Verified patient
Dr. Rizio was great once I finally got in to see him. I was the first appointment of the day and I still had to wait over 45 minutes!
Fairly good. I submitted the paperwork through ZocDoc website but the receptionist said she did not receive it. I had to submit it through their website.

It was good
The experience of visiting Dr Louis Rizio III is really good although the wait is a bit longer than expected, but partly it was my fault too. The traffic was bad, I missed the turn, the check-in paperwork I filled in online didn’t come through so I had to fill it out again… …But I got his professional opinion on my problem, he provided me options of my medication, treatment and prognosis of my condition. Although this was my first visit, but I do like his manner to treat patient, very professional! I would highly recommend him.
This was my third visit to Dr, Rizio's office and on each prior visit I made sure to let reception know I was there on my lunch break so I did not have any major wait time. This time, however, I (wrongly) assumed I did not need to make mention of this and I was in the waiting room for over 45 minutes. When I asked the assistant how much longer, she responded very unprofessionally with a bad attitude. I really like Dr. Rizio but that level of disrespect and disregard for my time is reason enough to not return.
I liked him lot.. He was very nice, and he spoke to me in plain English. I also really liked the fact that he didn't belittle my concerns.

I liked him a lot. I was able to get an appointment within two days of my injury. He was personable and saw me almost immediately (I went to his NYC office, apparently they're still not switched over to the electronic record system so I had to fill out a bunch of paperwork again before I could go in.) Got a realistic diagnosis and follow up. Not thrilled with my diagnosis but that's not his fault - overall an excellent experience.

Good!
He didnt spend any time with me at all during our visit. I asked him to look at the films and explain to me why a certain thing couldn't be done. He wouldn't do it. I was in alot of pain and having anxiety and couldnt get the timumg of when I fell happened and I felt ganged up on. It felt lije because I was giving weird dates that I was lying or something. I told him my mom just died and I was gaving trouble thinkung of exact dates and there was no compassion. Its as if I never said I JUST list my mom. Im sure hes good for someone but not most. I heard the couple before me when they came out and they were not pleased AT ALL with him. I thought oh theyre a bit older maybe its just theyre sensitive but nope this is not a great doctor. ...NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. the only tjing is that I was able to get an appointment right away. And do did the elderly couple I saw before me. The office was empty when I was there. And it was empty when I left. I really hate to say negetive things about people but I am in so much pain and he didnt offer me any options. He did give me the name of a doctor which actually was useless anyway. ...NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!
Thorough, informative and productive.
I feel like Dr. Rizzio listened to me and really cared about helping me heal from my injury. Friendly, warm demeanor, excellent bedside manner!
Very concise & to the point
He was very good at diagnosing my injury. I was relieved that it was not as serious as I had imagined. He then prescribed pt for my calf injury and we scheduled a follow up for one month later. I will not be able to make a recommendation on Dr Rizio until I have more experience with him.
Once at the appointment, everything was fine but everything beforehand was very hurried. On Wednesday (the day before), I made the appointment for 10:45 am today and was notified that this location was not equipped with an X-Ray machine so I had to go elsewhere beforehand to get an X-Ray. I needed a prescription along with other paperwork before I could get the X-Ray but I never received them so today I had to contact Dr. Rizio's office in order to have the prescription sent to the radiologist. This led me to get to the Dr. Rizio at 11:30 am. I jsut think this process seems very backwards. I think it would make much more sense for Dr. Rizio's office to directly set you up with a time and location (either near their office or my home)for the radiology appointment. Obviously, the doctor's office would know where these are located as opposed to the patient. Luckily I found on the way during my commute and they were able to squeeze me in between their patients.
