For more than 30 years I've been working with people with a wide variety of situations, emotions, and dilemmas. At times, a patient will come in without a way to put their problem into words. In this case, as in all cases, I listen carefully to begin forming an understanding of what the patient is dealing with. I'm also listening for strengths the individual has that we can build on. Deciding on which psychological approach would be best manner of treatment is next. Cognitive therapy, Psychodynamic psychotherapy, Self-psychology theory, Behavioral therapy principles, and concepts from Family therapy are examples of psychological schools of thought in which I have training and experience.
Currently I am accepting adolescent and adult patients.
