I couldn't believe how genuinely happy he was that I was there! I was so nervous for my first appointment to learn about my fertility treatment options, and was certain there was going to be bad news. Dr. Ku immediately reassured me, without knowing how nervous I was, that I was going to be a mother. He was so kind and gave me hope again! I also read his bio on the website and was so impressed with all of his education and experience! I would highly recommend Dr. Ku!

Lowell T. Ku, M.D. Ku in suitis the only Infertility specialist to have trained in Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Ku was born in Dallas and raised in Flower Mound, Texas. Dr. Ku attended Emory University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music: Cello performance. Dr. Ku was president of numerous organizations and was honored with several awards while attending Emory University including the National Scholar’s Award.
After graduating from Emory, Dr. Ku received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston where he also served as class president all four years. Thereafter, Dr. Ku completed training in the nationally recognized Family Medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas where he served as chief resident. He then entered into private practice in Houston.
Having always loved Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Ku returned to training and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at John Peter Smith Hospital where he once again was elected as chief resident.
During his OB/Gyn residency, Dr. Ku published many research papers and was the recipient of the prestigious Pritchard Prize Paper Award given by the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the best resident research in 2005. Dr. Ku was also honored with numerous recognitions including the Outstanding Medical Specialty Resident Award in 2004 as well as in 2005 and was honored by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists with an award for Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures.
