I absolutely loved Lu Ann Jacobs-Peterson. I never thought I would like anyone as much as Dr Cheryl Johnson. Her personality is perfect for me, very upfront and down to earth. She really listens and took so much time with me. I know she considered all my concerns.

I believe this was the worst visit I have experienced with any medical provider. I waited for approximately 2 hours to be seen. When she did walk in and asked me why I was here she stared at the EMR on the computer. For the first ten minutes she never even looked at my face. As a CNP myself, her bedside manner was appalling. I told her I had a physical within the past three months where my lipid panel was WNL. She went ahead and ordered that again. When I asked her to remove it she started scratching out of all the labs (which was the reason for my visit). I did not think that my insurance should pay for another lipid panel that was recently done but I did want to get the lab tests done that are necessary for my health. She said "I will write that you refused this". I said "ok". I discussed my fibrocystic breasts and how a radiologist had recommended a repeat bilateral breast U/S three years later. I have recently moved to Utah and did not have these results with me. She said "I can order this ultrasound but, just so you know, since I have no results to verify these findings the test may be denied by your insurance." I actually had to suggest that she perform a physical breast exam so she could document that the lumps were felt. She walked over to the cabinet, turned around and threw the gown at me. She could not even hand it to me. She then left the room with the door open when I was supposed to be undressing from the waist up. I heard her announce "I am so sick of these patients." Her attitude was completely disgusting. If you want to see a provider who will demonstrate absolutely no care or compassion towards you or your health then go see Luann. Personally, my husband, family and I will never be returning to see her. The receptionists and MA's were super nice. I would return to this clinic to see a different provider since it is so close to our home on Traverse Mountain but I will never see Luann Jacobs-Peterson again.

The waiting room was clean and quiet. I was greeted as soon as I entered and waited for less than 5 minutes in the waiting room and only a couple of minutes in the examining room. All of my concerns were addressed and I left feeling satisfied and uplifted.

I enjoyed my visit and her friendly and compassionate way of checking me. She has had sinus infection before and asked questions instead of pressing the sore spots on my face.
Having an option of treatment was considerate. I took the shot so I could get back to work.

She is one of the best Physicians I have seen. I have been to over 40 different doctors (easily) in my 28 years, sadly. I have had two Doctors before Lu Ann, who I didn't want to either move from, change insurance, or whatever the case might be. I am beginning to build that same (trust, she really cares for my well being, can empathize, but thinks and debates about medication before just handing over "whatever pill"). I appreciate her and what she does.
