Since she was very young, Luc-Ha (Chelsea) Nguyen, MD, dreamed of a career where she could regularly help people. After shadowing her pediatrician in 6th grade for a school project, Dr. Nguyen decided that she wanted to become a doctor, where she could focus on helping others with something as fundamental as their health.
Dr. Nguyen loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and celebrating with them when they accomplish their health goals. In deciding on her field of study, Dr. Nguyen chose family medicine after working with an influential primary care provider in a research project in college. Throughout her medical training, she discovered that she liked looking at the bigger picture and treating people as a whole.
An Orange County native, Dr. Nguyen grew up in Garden Grove and eventually moved to Fountain Valley. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing board games, exploring new places, watching videos on YouTube, listening to music and doing karaoke, and experimenting with makeup.
