Dr. Lucia Gambino received her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Science and Disorders from Adelphi University. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree through the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium, which includes Hofstra University, Adelphi University, and St. John's University. She has clinical experience working in medical, private practice, and corporate settings.
Dr. Gambino discovered her passion for audiology during a medical mission trip to Ecuador. While there, she observed an ENT specialist and recognized the importance of speaking another language. Fluent in Italian, she has provided interpretation services to many patients throughout her work in Queens.
She is passionate about patient-centered care, the latest hearing aid technology, and advocating for the hard of hearing and Deaf community. Dr. Gambino is empathetic, an excellent communicator, and dedicated to supporting all her patients throughout their hearing journey. Her clinical interests include adult diagnostics and amplification, aural rehabilitation, and hearing conservation.
Dr. Gambino holds certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology. She is also licensed in New York State as a clinical and dispensing audiologist. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends.

Review of issues was thorough. I was surprised the meeting with the doctor included a sales presentation and pitch to purchase a hearing aid. The pitch included pricing, discounts, different package offerings, as well as a contract to sign.
