Originally from Caracas, Dr. Arias Urdaneta attended the Central University of Venezuela in order to pursue his medical degree. He continued his medical education at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and was selected as chief resident for the training program. Dr. Arias Urdaneta completed his fellowship in rheumatology at Harvard's prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital.
