Dr. Carrasquero was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She attended medical school at Universidad Central de Venezuela Luis Razetti School of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree on 2002. Dr. Carrasquero completed her Pediatric Residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. After completion, she worked as a neonatal hospitalist at the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Jackson Memorial. Dr. Carrasquero is a board-certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2007. She relocated to Orlando in 2008, and has been working as a general pediatrician serving the Orlando and Sanford area community.
Dr. Carrasquero is married, enjoys going to the movies, plays piano and has a passion for flamenco dancing. At home, she has two dogs, Bruno and Havana, a Yorkie and Mini Schnauzer. Also, she is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Louisa was amazing. Very sweet and intelligent woman. She went over all the newborn basics and some, with us. I didn't feel rushed or like she didn't care about us like I have with other pediatricians. I highly recommend her :(

Dr. Luisa Carrasquero was very sweet and patient with my 2-year old daughter that was being cranky. She takes the time to listen to you and actually shows concern about your child's health, I really liked her and believe I made the right decision by switching to her as my kids' primary care Dr????

Dr. Carrasquero and her staff were great! I recently moved to the state and was looking for a pediatrician for my three boys. It proved difficult because it was one week before school began and no one had an appointment for us including her. But she went above and beyond to help me and came in an hour earlier than her clinic was scheduled to open just to see them so that I could get them into school. They were professional and very attentive to my needs and might I add she is very thorough and did not rush through my appointment. I love here and she is certainly going to remain the pediatrician for my boys!

Very cute office design. A wonderful and warm pediatrician, incredibly gentle with my baby. Wait time is usually less than 5 minutes and the office staff is always ready and willing to address any issues. Even when my baby was ill, the staff directed me over the phone as to the treatment and medication. They also were willing to book me for an appointment immediately to get my baby checked out. In addition, even though I am an English speaker, the office runs bi-lingual operations in English and Spanish. Its a wonderful plus for the Spanish speaking patients. I highly recommend Dr. Luisa Carrasquero-Arismendi.
