I'm a regular patient and every visit I'm greeted by the staff in a warm, engaging way. The facility is clean, professional & organized. Dr. Petre is knowledgable & professional. She cares about the health and wellness of her patients. She has hired top notch staff to monitor and interact with patients. Will and Annelie are both assets to her practice and create an encouraging atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs coached in lifestyle management & healthy living.

Dr. Luiza Petre is an experienced Cardiologist. Skilled in researching, organizing and conducting programs in many areas, with emphasis on Disease Prevention, Cardiac Imaging, Weight Loss and Age Management.
She began her medical career in 2000 with a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 2004 she was appointed a Cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York followed by a Cardiac CT mini fellowship.
Dr. Petre is currently appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Cardiology at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Cardiology Clinical Instructor at NYU Langone Medical Center and is an active Fellow of American College of Cardiology (ACC), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), American Society of Vascular Ultrasound (ASVU) and American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP).
Dr. Luiza Petre is certified in American Board of Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Ultrasound, Age Management Medicine and holds level III expertise in Cardiac CT Angiography.
Since 2007 she has been in private practice with a focus on Cardiac Imaging and Preventive Cardiology. Although she has never wavered from her true calling — caring for patients while emphasizing and advocating disease prevention and wellness, she also joined Medi-Weightloss® Clinic of Eastchester as medical director and expand her work beyond her Cardiology practice to help shine a light on the need for preventative healthcare, especially as it relates to weight management.
Additionally she serves as an independent expert consultant for Laboratory Accreditation process in Echocardiography (ICAEL), Vascular Ultrasound (ICAEVL)and Nuclear Cardiology (ICANL).
Since 2002 she volunteers and manages the house doctor program for Lincoln Center - New York Philharmonic.

Always greeted by a warm and friendly smile. Everyone is professional, treat you with the utmost respect and so supportive and motivating. Office is always clean and the atmosphere is relaxing.

I have been visiting Medi weight loss for almost 5 months and I am beyond happy with my results. The professionals here have been efficient in helping me address my needs and learn how to eat healthier in order to sustain after the end of my treatment. I have been able to achieve my goals & better understand my body. Coming here to address my weight problem has been one of the best things I have done!!

Excellent support through my personal weight loss journey. They made it easy for me because they took out the anxiety that comes with dieting. Most importantly, they were professional, informative and reassuring along the way. A little over 6 weeks and about 9 pounds down and my life/balance was not interrupted.

I have been coming for a few months, the clinic helps keep me accountable and helps course correct when I have issues with maintaining progress. Visits are ususally very time efficient, they spend the time answering all questions as well.
