Lynn has been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 25 years. She has enjoyed working in the school systems in Italy, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Florida. In 2010, her 2 children had graduated from college, and she needed something to occupy my free time, so she began working in nursing homes and home health in the evenings to help elderly patients. Four years ago, she transitioned her career to teletherapy. At first, she was working part-time after school and due to COVID 2019, teletherapy became a full-time career. She LOVES teletherapy and making those connections with not only her students but their families as well. Teletherapy has allowed her to be more creative in my sessions and she feels so much more productive at work and with her family. She has 2 dogs, Poppi Mae and Piper Skye who love having Lynn home during the day, and sometimes they will make a guest appearance. They spend their evenings at the beach or walking by the river. Lynn also enjoys her two grandsons, gardening, raising Monarch butterflies from eggs, bicycling, and reading.
