Lynn is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, with a Master of Nutrition Science from Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Lynn has been providing nutrition counseling to individuals and families for 11 years. She believes that while nutrition is a science, diet is cultural and personal. As a working mom, a wife, and a daughter of elder parents and in-laws, Lynn also understands how family and social context impacts cooking and dining. She aims to collaborate with her clients on resolving issues and forming a healthy, long-lasting lifestyle. Her ideal client has an open mind, takes initiative in loving and respecting their own body, and accepts her as a partner on their journey to better health. A fun fact about Lynn is that both of her parents were medical doctors in China who practiced both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine. Having early exposure to traditional Chinese medicine has enabled her to integrate the concepts of ?food as medicine? and ?nourishing life? into her practice.
