Dr. Badawi attended the University of Damascus, where he received his medical degree, and completed internships at Damascus University Hospital and Evangelical Deaconess Hospital. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University. Dr. Badawi continued his training by completing a fellowship in gastroenterology at the same institution.
Dr. Badawi is a part of McLaren Oakland-Waterford Primary Care. Patients see Dr. Badawi for a variety of reasons, including diabetes follow up, vertigo, urinary tract infection, sore throat, and general consultation.

A complete lack of communication between the staff and doctor. There was a problem Filling my script from the doc, so he made me come all the way back to the office Assuring me id be written in a new prescription. I was left waiting for an entire hour in the waiting room and another half hour in the patient's room, only fir Dr. Badawi to decline rewriting a prescription he had already written for me. I repeat I did not lose the prescription the Pharmacy simply refused to fill it. Absolutely ridiculous. doctors are meant to help people not cause I'm more anxiety in their life
