Margaret Green Wardlaw, CNM, APRN, MSN, RN, BSN, brings over 20 years of experience in registered nursing and midwifery to My OB/GYN Specialists in Miami, serving patients throughout Miami-Dade County.
Margaret began her professional education at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing. During her time at Salve Regina University, Margaret served as a member of the student nurse organization, holding positions as both president and secretary. During her undergraduate studies, Margaret also received the Sister Madeline San Souci Nursing Award and the Student Nurse Organization Award.
After graduation, she moved to Washington, DC, and enrolled at Georgetown University, where she earned her Master of Science in specialty nurse-midwifery in just 18 months. At Georgetown, Margaret received the prestigious Nurse-Midwifery Program Award. The next summer, Margaret started her career, joining the team at Special Beginnings Birth and Women’s Center, in Arnold, MD, offering labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Over the course of the last two decades, Margaret continued serving in various nursing roles. She’s held a position as a certified nurse-midwife at The Maternity Center in Bethesda, Maryland, as a women’s health advanced practitioner at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, DC, and as a certified nurse-midwife at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland.
Margaret loves working one-on-one with pregnant women and specializes in homebirth practice, obstetrics, gynecology, lactation, and postpartum care. She also offers courses on prenatal yoga, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
