I felt so comfortable there and the Dr. was so warm and kind. She took the time to explain everything and to answer any questions I had. Everything went smoothly and I didn't feel rushed. I also ordered a new pair of glasses that I really like.

Born and raised in Krakow, Poland, Malgorzata Kiwacz has made Chicago her home since she was 13. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. Now, if she isn't out biking, she's busy making sure Chicagoans get a picture-perfect view of the world. Margaret became a Doctor of Optometry because, in part, she enjoys Pediatrics and working with children. She's also happy to share the most unusual fact she learned in school: eyes blink 10 million times per year.

I was a bit early and they were able to get me in without a wait. The medical assistant was kind and clearly explained the tests we were going to do. The doctor spent quite a while with me and clearly explained my results, gave clear recommendations, citing medical journal studies to back up why she was recommending certain things over others. She also had excellent bedside manner, as we talked about more than just my care, and she showed excitement when a concern I had about my vision ended up not being a big problem, which i thought was sweet and kind. Will definitely be going back to her for future eye appointments.
