Dr. Khan was born in India and moved to the United States with her family when she was 14. She graduated from Glenbard East High School and then got her Bachelors from Benedictine University. She then went on to pursue her dream and got her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Khan then completed a 3 year surgical residency from St.Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis with extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery as well as diabetic limb salvage. She has also received training in wound care and general foot and ankle care.
Dr. Khan will be joining Instep Podiatry in October 2018. She enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery with an emphasis on wound care, sports medicine, congenital abnormalities, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She will also be affiliated with local hospitals, surgery centers, and wound care facilities.
Personally, Dr. Khan likes to travel and bake. She and her husband welcomed their daughter in 2017 and she enjoys being a parent.
