Receptionist was nice and explained insurance/copay information thoroughly. I waited less than 15 minutes to get my info and vitals taken and then another 10 min or so to see the doctor. Dr. Alerte was very nice and listened to my concerns. He made me feel better about an issue I was having. I only saw him briefly but it felt like long enough.

Very professional with full attention at all times.
His Brooklyn office is dirty and in much need of renovation. Same with the restroom, which I had to use to deliver a urine sample. Disgusting would be an understatement. Dr Alerte is a nice enough guy, but seemed to operate on his own sense of time, passing through the waiting room slowly and not seeming to register that many were waiting to see him. I went for a physical exam, which he basically did not perform, with the exception of my blood pressure and asking me questions. No exam per se. Generally speaking, he made me feel very much like he did not care about me as a patient.

I always enjoy my visits here.

Friendly doctor and staff.
The office is horrible. The staff (particularly the nurse) are unfriendly. The doctor was unhelpful. Going to see the doctor in itself should not be an unpleasant experience, but this was. I would not recommend him.

Great Experience.

Well it was an annual check up and everything went fine. I requested certain suggestions about my health Dr. Marc put them in consideration. And now just waiting for results.
Seemed like a regular visit,to Me. Was pretty much in and out, which is a bit different from an average doctor visit. The staff was friendly.

I came in to do a physical examination and the doctor looked at my eyes, checked my neck, and had me take a few deep breaths while he listened, ordered me a blood test, then sent me on my way. What? I waited nearly 45 minutes to see the doctor for like 5-10 minutes.

I did have to wait long but i was late for my appointment. He was very professional and took care of me and any questions that i had with patience and courtesy. I do wish however that his office was bigger or more sound proofed. I felt like i could hear whats going on around me while in the back. besides that, great practitioner and excellent service.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. Dr. Alerte was nice but he didn't seem to care much. Before seeing him, I had to wait OVER AN HOUR in a waiting room that smelled like stale cigarettes which advertised if you wanted to use the bathroom, you'd have to return the soap to the front desk. (Ew.) People that came in after me were allowed to go in before me, including what seemed like a salea drug rep. When it came time to pay a copay, I was alerted that I had to pay with cash because they didn't have a credit card machine. It appears that aside from one computer, all files are still paper. The nurse who took my vitals didn't take the time to check that I'd already answered all her questions via ZocDoc first. She was extremely rude and unfriendly to me, her bedside manner was terrible. And honestly, I question she was even a registered nurse. When she took my vitals, she didn't even bother to take my pulse when taking my blood pressure. And when she wanted to take my temperature, she asked that I put what looked like a MERCURY thermometer under my arm. What century is this?! She refused to believe my height and weight which was recently taken by my PCP and she weighed me in full clothing including a heavy sweatshirt on a scale from what looked at least 30 years old. Never ever will I return to this rundown office with terrible regard for its patients and a nursing staff that's highly questionable. I'm very disappointed in the false representation by ZocDoc here.
