Marc Hazan, MD, PC, is Board Certified in both Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York and completed his fellowship at Kings County Hospital Center. Dr. Hazan served as Chief of Cardiology at Huntington Hospital from 2001 to 2005 and played a key role in bringing a cardiac catheterization laboratory to the community. He has also held several leadership positions at Huntington Hospital, including Director of the Coronary Care Unit, Associate Medical Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation, Co-Director of Echocardiography, and Co-Director of the Women’s Heart Program. Dr. Hazan emphasizes disease prevention and early detection through lifestyle modification and selective testing. He believes that patients must take responsibility for their own health and is committed to assisting them in doing so.
