Marc Heller is an experienced, personable, and caring primary care doctor returning to the office where he did his residency training , to join his mentor Dr. Lawrence Peck in Morrisville, PA. Dr. Heller has been working in outpatient Family Medicine for the last 7 years, after finishing his training. Dr. Heller attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in Stratford, NJ, where he received his medical degree. After his graduation from UMDNJ, Dr. Heller completed his general rotating internship at Aria Health (Formerly Frankford Hospitals) in Philadelphia, PA and Bucks County, PA. Dr. Heller continued his education at Aria, where he received an extra year of training in Emergency Medicine, before completing his residency in Family Medicine. Dr. Heller also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University and a Master’s degree in Physiology from Georgetown University.
Dr. Heller is a physician at Morrisville Yardley Family Practice and will be affiliated with Aria Hospital and caring for patients who seek care at any of the regional hospitals as a Family Physician. The doctor is nice, but this was the strangest most unprofessional office I have ever seen. The nurse took my blood pressure 3 times and was unable to figure out how to do it. The nurse came in the exam room six more times to ask questions while I waited over an hour for the doctor, who was busy seeing the three patients that were scheduled after me and arrived after me (I verified this with the doctor). Walls are PAPER THIN so don't expect any privacy - I overheard all other patient conversations and also could hear every word about my private health details being discussed in the hall between an angry medical student and the DO. The student was angry because I attempted to refuse an examination by her (this is strictly for her training and benefit, so I should have been given a choice of whether or not I have the time and the desire to help her with her education). She refused to leave the exam room, conducted tests that the DO then repeated, and then discussed this for ten minutes in the hall with the doctor, wasting more of my time! This practice performs an EKG and a hearing test on all new patients (with an archaic looking device), but I declined these tests, so I don't know how much the insurance companies are being billed, but I have never heard of such a protocol. They were utterly shocked that I declined these tests, so my assumption is that the patients typically concede to anything without questioning the validity of their treatment.

Everyone in the office was pleasant and helpful. I was actually seen right away, but I was there for almost 90 minutes and I didn't even see anyone else in the office.

I've been seeing Dr. Heller since 2010, when I first moved here from Syracuse,NY. He is, by far, the best medical doctor I have ever had . He is knowledgeable and has always been personable. Thanks to him and his ability to refer me to great specialists, I was able to have a sleep study done and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am so sad he is leaving.
