First thing she stated was she tried to get ahold of me prior to our appointment. But I had zero messages or missed calls. She said she couldn’t see me because I was on Suboxone. I explained to her I didn’t need medication management for Suboxone (I’ve had the same PCP for over ten years that manages it.) She said okay but sounded hesitant. We continued the appointment. Then when she realized I was in outpatient therapy she said I was outside of Talkiatry’s scope. Why on earth would someone having a positive support in their life be a disqualifier I have no idea. She said she would talk to her supervisor to send me resources which I never received.
