Margie Chung is a jovial and friendly family nurse practitioner serving her patients in Rockwall, TX. Margie is a member of the American Nurses Association and the Texas Nurses Association. Margie began her medical career at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, where she received her diploma in nursing. She then attended Coe College to earn her Bachelor’s in nursing. She then attended the Texas Woman’s University to earn her Master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner. Margie has been nursing since 1979 and continues to treat her patients and their illnesses with the upmost concern and excellence of treatment.
She is extensively trained in the basic and advanced operation of electrocardiograms (EKGs) and trauma procedures. She is a certified registered nurse infusionist, certified to peripherally insert central catheters, and spoke at the National Option Care Clinical Symposium on the “Care of the Multiple Therapy HIV Patient in the Home Setting.”

The visit was awesome as she always is but she was suppose to give me a statement for work for my Plantar Fasciitis to cover me from not wearing steel toe shoes as they keep my condition inflamed. She was busy and forgot to give me one, and after calling and leaving messages for her team and for the medical records folks, I still have nothing to show my boss and even though my work is predominantly 99% in my office, there are times when I have to cross into the warehouse where they are required unless you do have a medical reason. Myself, I just don't want to set back the progress we have made. Still waiting, but I LOVE Margi and her team !! I will never change unless
something really drastic happens in my life situation. They are the absolute best !

I have been away from this doctor's office for a year due to a change in insurance companies. Well I am back again and I think I'll pay cash if my insurance changes again. Everyone at this office is very polite, professional, courteous, etc. I felt like I was back home with them. I don't want to go anywhere else. They take the time to talk to you, to find out what you need, and they do their best to provide you with excellent doctor's care. So happy with the place and the people!

Margie (and her awesome nurses) knows her patients well. She spends time addressing any/all concerns, and more importantly makes sure any other care (i.e., mammogram) is on your radar. She doesn't miss a thing. She is detailed, professional, kind/empathetic and highly skilled. I feel like she's addressed issues that a doctor would not because they simply rush through patients like herding cattle. You won't find that with Margie, and I suspect she could teach a few doctors a thing or two about real patient care.

She is always helpful and listens to your needs. She is concerned with your problems and will discuss at length what we need to do to correct the problem. We spent quite a bit of time going over my medications and resolving any concerns that were there. Glad to be seeing a caring professional.
