My professional career started in 1984 when I completed an Associated Degree in Nursing from University of Puerto Rico. In 2011 I obtained a BSN in Nursing from York College which I graduated Cum Laude. In July 2011 I received a scholarship from the Hispanic Nurses Association and the Ildaura Caudillo award for academic excellency and leadership helping me to continue working on my education and as result I graduated in 2013 from Pace University with a MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner. During this time I worked as a Registered Nurse at HHC facility. In January 2014 I opened my own practice offering services to homebound patients with the collaboration of Dr. Perry J. Starer MD-Geriatrician who worked as an attending at Elmhurst Hospital for over 20 years. In June 2014, I started working with MHC partners doing health risk assessments.
