Dr. Eguiguren was caring and thorough. She listened to all my questions and gave thoughtful answers. A med student was involved in my visit and she made sure to ask and make me feel comfortable about that. I definitely want her to be my primary gyno from now on.

Dr. Eguiguren truly is a wonderful doctor.
After losing my long-time ob-gyn to her having relocated her office outside of my region, it's comforting to have found such an excellent, caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable ob-gyn so close to my home. Nurse Leslie was friendly, professional and compassionate too. Making my first time visit a breeze.
The office is easily accessible by Metro or bus and parking was easy. The building's entrance is on the side street next to Johnson's Garden Center.
Administrators are friendly and helpful on the phone and in-person.
I cannot recommend Dr. Maria Eguiguren highly enough.

I went to see Dr. Eguiguren for an infertility consult. I got a referral to another clinic. Although the doc was very nice it was a complete waste of time. I feel like every time I see a physician they only want to collect the visit fee without doing any work. It was no different with Dr. Eguiguren.

Dr. Eguiguren has excellent bed sure manner. She was kind and attentive and really paid attention to all of my concerns and asked plenty of questions.
My only complaint was the wait time. When I called to confirm my appointment I was asked to arrive 30 minutes early. When I showed up the nurse made a comment about how early I was while she took my vitals and told me I'd have to wait a bit because I was so early! The doctor came in to see me almost twenty minutes after my scheduled appointment.

While I did have to wait a while before I was seen, I totally did not mind. I know how it is in the health profession and there are just so many unforeseen events that may occur. The first thing Dr. Eguiguren did was sincerely apologize for the wait and assured me that it is not a normal occurrence. It was my first wellness exam with a gynecologist, so I was a little nervous. She made sure that I was comfortable and made my first check in a breeze!

Great experience! Being a new patient, they asked me to arrive 30 minutes early, but I was actually seen into a patient room about 30 seconds after checking in at the desk. Dr. Eguiguren was very professional and courteous; she seemed to genuinely care for her patients and gave a lot of information and pros/cons to certain procedures and questions. I highly recommend her!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Eguiguren. I am really happy I had my appointment with her as my previous experiences were not very good. She is very nice and gives you enough time to talk about any concerns and personal details. I would highly recommend this practice. The staff is incredibly nice, calmed, and supportive.

She was very kind, knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner. Sometime I wish I knew beforehand, however, is that because Georgetown is a Catholic hospital they are not able to place IUDs. She referred me to someone else after she had done my exam but it is annoying to have to go somewhere else.

She was wonderful, super sweet and thorough! However, I was not aware that she was not allowed to place an IUD because she works at a Catholic institution which was the main reason I scheduled an appointment.
I wish I was made aware of this considering I left a note that I wanted to discuss this birth control method and switch my current birth control. If I had known this service was not available, I would have scheduled an appointment with another doctor.

I booked my appointment through zocdoc and when I showed up they said it wasn't confirmed so I needed to reschedule. The front desk does nothing themselves and they make you call a number in front of them to provide insurance information and rebook an appointment . This was the most ridiculous thing that's ever happened to me in a doctor's office. What's the point of having 12 people at the front desk? What in the world do they do besides sit there and talk to each other?
