I never write reviews for anything but i have never seen a MD who seemed to know NOTHING about anything thyroid related or contributing endocrine disorders. I think i taught her more than what she learned in med school. You’re better off diagnosing yourself on WebMD.

I’ve never felt so humiliated by a doctor before. She laughed passive aggressively while explaining the irrelevance of symptoms and criticized the lab results that I showed her. I understand that I may have been misinformed to see an endocrinologist, but I still deserve respect as a patient who is in a vulnerable position. I came in asking for help, not be kicked while I’m already down. I would never want to have someone so ignorant taking care of my well being.

No bedside manner at all. Actually laughed in my face when I told her what I thought was wrong with me. I felt disrespected and unheard and uncomfortable throughout my entire visit. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Cardenas was very nice and her staff as well, but she used slot of words and terminology that I’m not familiar with or didn’t understand. I felt as though my time with her had no direction, she just kind of let me talk through my symptoms and then ordered more lab work.

She was wonderful. Her staff was amazing too. There was an emergency and that is the only reason that I had to wait to see her. She had a great bedside manner. She really took time and listened to me and was interesting in the problems I was having and resolving them. Her staff was very kind too. It was a great experience!

Practitioner was not very helpful. She basically printed out WebMD forms and read them off to me. I will give her credit for her follow-up -- both she and her staff were excellent about calling me when they said they would, followed up with test results, etc. Very impressed by that.
