Most importantly our 11year old enjoyed Dr. Maria S., he stated right the visit she allowed him to talk and ask questions with her responses as very informal and comforting for him to receive and understand. After losing our Family Doctor, I searched for several years for someone new for me and my family. After many appointments with different providers & in multiple locations, it seemed there were none left that weren't arrogant or degrading. None who didn't treat you like an ignorant peasant, who showed respect & empathy. Forming their opinion against your character before even meeting for the first time.
This was standard operations within the Veteran's Affairs system, to see it bleed over into the private sector was extremely disappointing..
Until today-
To be spoken to like a human being, having mutual respect, actually listening, not forming a poor & false opinion..
Speaking to my young teen son in this same manner, as a caring friend..
From hundreds of Doctors I've met throughout Michigan, she is only the second one worth the title of being the best doctor in the state!
Finally restored my faith in Doctors!!

As a single dad, finding a doctor like Dr. Maria has been a game-changer. She was there to clear up any worries I had, no matter how big or small. Every question I've thrown her way, she's answered with such patience and clarity. It's been such a relief to have her support and guidance on this parenting journey.
