Maricela Hernandez DNP, APRN is board certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American in 1995 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. In 2013, attended and graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. In 2016, Dr. Hernandez graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She has over 20 years of nursing experience in Women’s Health, Cardiology and Nephrology. Dr. Hernandez currently sees patients at our Downtown office. She is fluent in Spanish.
