Dr. James-Ayanru is a mother of two and is an experienced OB/GYN physician. She received her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and holds a masters degree in Maternal/Child health from Columbia University School of Public Health. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, The Texas Medical Association, International Society of Cosmetogynecology and is an associate member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).

OMG! There are SO MANY things horribly WRONG about this place! I'm expecting my first baby...And this was the WORST doctor's experience I've ever had in my entire life!
From the ice cold lobby with NO heat....(Patients sitting in folding chairs in a COLD room! No warm beverages, no Kleenex), dark/ dim-lit office, to a filthy bathroom with UNCOVERED urine samples on the counter, to being placed in rooms with DEAD BUGS collecting in the overhead light fixture, chicken-like wire hanging from wall to wall with a FLIMSY SHOWER CURTAIN hanging from it (make-shift patient curtain), patient/ exam patient paper dangling on the floor!...Scotch tape all over the door (near door knob handle)...
Thank GOD for the nurse, LaWanza!!! For a brief moment, she made me forget how HORRIBLE everything was. What a shame that she's only there one day a week. She was SO personable...Informed me that I should be seeing a high-risk specialist, that I need prenatal vitamins, took my measurements, attempted to hear the baby's heartbeat...I really felt like she cared!
Due to my upcoming wedding, she asked that Dr. James give me a sonogram. Dr. James was RUDE! Asking it was our (me & my fiancé) first baby...And when I said "Yes."...Her reply was "You couldn't be American! American...And NOT have a lot of babies!?" (THANK YOU FOR THE RUDENESS & RACISM!!!. My God Mother witnessed EVERYTHING was HORRIFIED!)
Dr. James continues to say I'm "too early"..She sees a "pregnancy sack" & that's it. Gives me a timeframe of maybe 5 wks & tells me to come back in 2 days. (Nurse measured me and gave me 8-9wks timeframe. HOW CAN THERE BE SUCH A DISCREPANCY?!)
I asked Dr. James a question, she says "I don't know.", tells me to wipe up & come back...Then, walks out.
NO PRENATAL VITAMINS...NO mention of a high risk specialist (I'm over 40)...I honestly felt like I was WASTING HER TIME! I spent 40+ mins with the nurse...and MAYBE 5 mins with her! I felt like she rushed me through everything...No informative information...NOTHING.
On the way out, I ask the receptionist if I needed to pay or anything. Her response "Well...Do you need to come back or something?" My response "No". And I walked out.
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN!!! ALL WOMEN THAT I TELL ARE COMPLETELY HORRIFIED! All ask "WHERE DID YOU GO!? You need a REAL DOCTOR! YOU NEED TO REPORT THEM."
The only saving grace was the nurse...But, she's not enough to make of for that horrible experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!! :(
