Dr. Marina Kovalevsky has been in the medical field for more than 30 years. Her career continues a three-generation trend of medical doctors in her family. After more than 10 years of treating patients in Russia, Dr. Kovalevsky travelled to the United States, passing all of her certifications and finishing her three-year residency at Louisiana State University in 1998. Since then, she has built her own practice in West Hollywood from the ground up.
At her office, Dr. Kovalevsky applies the following principles without exception:
- All patients are seen by the doctor.
- No patient leaves the office without proper and personal care.
- The doctor spends as much time with patient as is needed for quality care. All patients are "First Class" patients.
- A friendly and highly experienced staff is ready to help each patient with appointments and documentation.
- The doctor is the Cedars-Sinai provider and sees patients daily while they are in the hospital.
Among the many procedures and tests available to patients at Dr. Kovalevsky’s office are IV fluid, ear lavage, wound care, cryotherapy for the removal of skin lesions and spots, and minor outpatient surgery. The office applies and introduces cutting edge and state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment such as at-home monitors for sleep studies, cardiac 24-hour holters, glucose seven-day real-time monitors, audiometry, spirometry, and ultrasound diagnostic equipment.
Carefully selected specialists often see patients as needed in the office. Dr. Kovalevsky herself also performs several beauty procedures, including Botox and filler injections. Her office also applies a special vacudermie machine for cellulite treatment and pain management. Psychologist and physiotherapist visits are also available.

The nurse dos not wash her hands until I asked her to and proceeded to try and examine me with one hand on her cell phone. They were not at all courteous - examined me with the door open and all the while screaming to the office assistants in the front

The office was not sterile and not very clean. Staff were not that friendly. I made an appt beforehand and was not seen until over an hour later, whereas walk-ins were seen before me. The doctor herself is the best part of the clinic, but I probably would not return.

Overheard her having a fight in russian with another patient. Came in for a full physical, and I had to remind them to WEIGH ME and to perhaps take a BLOOD SAMPLE. After waiting over an hour, when the doctor finally saw me, she spent less than 2 minutes with me. NEVER AGAIN. The place was so dirty. I am literally scared about the cleanliness of the needle used to draw my blood.

Dr. Kovalevsky and her team were very friendly and had excellent bedside manners. I was treated like a patient that had been going there for years. The office was clean and relax. There is also parking in the back and for Hollywood standards that's very good! Although there was a small wait; I expected this and made sure I had a buffer for the possibility of the delay. I can't imagine a "good" Dr. not having a wait; she's in demand for a reason.

Other than having a long wait (possibly due to the fact that I did not fill out paperwork online), the visit was excellent. Dr. Kovalevsky spent time with me, asked me questions, explained my options and performed a procedure with skill and professionalism. Thank you!

She is a great doctor. Tough lady ( in a good way ), very nice and never in any way insulting. Went above what I would have expected to help me and I highly recommend her. Wait was a little longer for me to deal with insurance things specific to my plan, but if I went in again I'm sure it'd be much faster.
