Marina Ryan is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. From childhood, Marina always had a passion for medicine with a strong desire to help people in every aspect of care. Originally from Russia, she received her Associates in Science degree in Nursing and Bachelor in Science degree in Biology in her country, which made a perfect combination of both sciences for advanced knowledge and a full understanding of how medicine works together with human anatomy and physiology. In 2002 Marina moved to the United States and started working as an Environmental Analyst at a Biochemical laboratory for 5 years, before she pursued her interest in medicine. Marina obtained her ASN from Broward College and took a job as a Registered Nurse at Good Samaritan Medical Center in a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic Unit, where she gained valuable experience in a hospital setting and at the same time obtained her BSN from Florida Atlantic University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. To expand her nursing experience and gain additional knowledge in a different practice area, Marina changed her career from hospital care setting to outpatient services. While working as a Preoperative/PACU Registered Nurse at Central Palm Beach Surgery Center, she decided to continue her education further and obtained her MSN from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with Honors. During her educational time, she received several honors and awards.
Marina had become a lifelong learner with extensive knowledge and skills which she readily applies in the care of her patients with a focus on education for health promotion and disease prevention. She is dedicated to delivering high quality medical care to her patients with an individualized and holistic approach.
She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Golden Key Honor Society.
Marina is fluent in English and Russian. Her hobbies include traveling, photography and playing piano. She is married and especially enjoys spending time with her 4 year old daughter.
