"I'm very excited to be here in the Pacific Northwest and look forward to building strong relationships with my patients and the community." Dr. Behnam comes to us from the "Mountain State" of West Virginia. Dr. Behnam attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he obtained degrees in Religion and Anthropology. He attended medical school in Vienna, Austria, at the University of Vienna, completing his Internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and his Residency at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. Dr. Behnam volunteers extensively for medical mission trips and has visited hospitals in such places as Nepal, Egypt, Israel and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Behnam strives to create an atmosphere of trust with his patients, collaborating with them in order to choose the best possible course of treatment. His interests include well-woman health care, normal and high risk obstetrics, female endocrine issues, incontinence correction and minimally invasive surgeries. He is trained in the most advanced technologies available for the treatment of abnormal menstrual bleeding.
Dr. Behnam joined our practice in December, 2010. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and German. He enjoys traveling, sailing, skiing and running.
