Dr. Mark A. Garza is an ACGME fellowship trained, triple board- certified interventional pain specialist.
He completed his pre-med studies at Texas A-&-M University. He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
After medical school, he completed his Family Practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He then completed two fellowships, one in Sports Medicine and the second in Pain Management at an innovative JPS Health Network and UT Southwestern Medical Center combined fellowship program.
He is committed to treating patients individually, compassionately and respectfully. Dr Garza is a caring experienced specialist who takes a multi-disciplinary and innovative approach in order to treat pain and improve quality of life.
Dr. Garza was previously in private practice in the Rio Grand Valley and is a two-time winner of the area's Reader's Choice Award for Best Pain Management Specialist.
