Originally from Arizona, Mark completed his Physician Assistant training in Des Moines, Iowa. He earned his Master’s from AT Still University.
Mark has worked in many areas of medicine but his current passion is caring for patients with chronic diseases that impact their life. Illnesses such as heart disease, COPD, diabetes and dementia.
“I believe in whole-person healthcare. The patient is more than just a collection of body systems with presenting signs and symptoms. I believe in a team approach to achieve mutual goals and listening to my patient is the best way to achieve those goals.”
During his free time Mark enjoys working with his hands, whether it is blacksmithing or rebuilding an old homemade log splitter. Often, he can be found camping or hiking in the mountains.
