I really appreciate the expertise and empathetic manner Dr. Partain brings to our sessions. Since working with Dr. Partain and Treble Health, my ability to manage and live with tinnitus has improved -- through tinnitus retraining therapy and CBT. I feel like I have more tools and knowledge to work with now. I no longer fear my tinnitus. Thank you!

Dr. Mark Partain obtained his doctorate in audiology at Rush University in Chicago, IL, completing his externship year at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, NY. He began his career at a private practice in Los Angeles, before moving home to the Chicago area. Most recently, he led the tinnitus management program at North Shore Audio-Vestibular Lab in Highland Park, IL.
He has presented research on a range of topics in audiology including humanitarian audiology, school hearing screenings, and best practices in audiologic evaluation. Dr. Partain’s interest in tinnitus research focuses on the development and assessment of more accessible neuromodulation software.
Dr. Partain joined Treble Health in 2022. He has board certification in Tinnitus Management from the American Board of Audiology, and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He enjoys working from home with his two rescue dogs, and is an avid marathon runner.

Mark is a lifesaver. He has helped and guided me through the most difficult time in my life. 3 and a half months after the sudden onset of tinnitus and hyperacusis, I can live a normal life again. My habituation journey isn't over yet but I am afraid to imagine what it could have been so far without Mark's compassion, patience, insights and encouragement.
He is always one email away whenever I need him and his advice has proven correct time and again.
Thank you Mark. Few people have had such a positive influence on my life and you were there for me in my greatest time of need.

Mark is the magical combination of skilled and highly intelligent professional and also decent empathic and wonderful human being. Instead of being devastated and frightened all the time, I am hopeful, proactive and even my husband and friends notice that rather than succumbing to rumors about tinnitus, Ménière’s disease end everything else that goes along with my condition, instead I am sharing with other people and urging them to come to Treble Health so they, too, can live in joy and not in fear. Even when I’ve had spikes Mark, along with Dr Ben‘s wonderful group chat with fellow sufferers, remind me that it’s just temporary, that I have coping mechanisms, that there are blocks of time when I am virtually symptom-free… And just in general I feel embraced, heard, a partner in healing with others… And my gratitude for Treble Health and Mark is beyond imagination
