Dr. Sloan earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, graduating at the top of his class in 1995. He previously completed an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology at South Suburban College and advanced training through the Northern Illinois School of Radiation Oncology, finishing in the 98th percentile of the national board exams.
Dr. Sloan’s journey into chiropractic medicine began with a personal experience. As a high school athlete in football, wrestling, and boxing, he sustained a traumatic bilateral pars fracture — a severe spinal injury. Initially managed through conventional medical treatment, his condition later improved significantly under the care of a chiropractic physician, inspiring him to pursue the profession himself.
Dr. Sloan brings over two decades of experience in chiropractic care, including the successful ownership and operation of two private practices. He has served a wide range of patients, from infants to centenarians, and has had the privilege of treating elite athletes, musicians, and performers—including Hall of Fame NASCAR drivers and members of renowned rock bands (KISS). He approaches patient care with compassion, skill, and an emphasis on delivering safe, effective chiropractic treatment tailored to everyone’s needs.
