I have been a patient of Doctor Weingarten’s for over 20 years. I had been seeing him for my optical needs because I was born near sighted and wore glasses or contacts since I was a child. After being a patient of his for a couple years I decided to investigate having Lasik eye surgery. At the time I started looking into having Lasik I was in my 40’s so I was concerned about losing my close vison to see far away.
Doctor Weingarten started working with me by trying different contact strengths on both of my eyes. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind, understanding and extremely helpful. I had my surgery in 2004.
I have type 2 diabetes and I continue to see Doctor Weingarten every year for my annual diabetic eye checkup. I was just in his office for my exam a couple days ago and he told me everything looked great! It has been almost 20 years and I still don’t need glasses or contacts anymore to see.
