Dr. Mark Westbrook was born and raised in Houston, graduating from Bellaire High School.
He attended Baylor University in Waco, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1978, and then went to medical school at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He did his Family Practice residency at Memorial Southwest Hospital and finished in 1985.
After moving back to Houston from Austin in 1990 he has practiced family medicine in the Northwest Houston area for the past 30 years. He and his wife, Judy, have lived in Tomball for the past 20 years, where he enjoys working in his vegetable garden and taking care of their 7 acres.
He is a passionate football fan, especially if Baylor is winning! He loves fishing, especially fly-fishing in the mountains of New Mexico and Montana.
“One of my greatest joys in Family Medicine has been the relationships that I have had the opportunity to develop over time with so many patients, often taking care of 3 generations of patients in the same family. Medicine has changed quite a bit over my 35 years in practice, but the ability of the Family Physician to know their patients, and take the time to listen to their patients and help them understand their illness and develop a plan is still the cornerstone of good medical care.”

Dr. Mark Westbrook is one of the best doctors. I have been seeing him for 15 years and was originally referred to him by a friend. He listens, takes time with you, and is very thorough with his assessment and diagnostics. Highly recommend.
